BSc(Hons) Sport and Exercise Science Provided by University Campus Suffolk With London 2012 just around the corner and the health of the nation at the forefront of the UK government agenda it is plain to see that sport, physical activity and a healthy life style are key factors in the current climate. As a consequence of the increased focus on sport and physically active lifestyles there has been an increase in career opportunities for suitably qualified Sport and Exercise Science graduates. This degree is designed to develop graduates who have the underlying scientific theory and practical skills required to work in a real world context. The course provides students with the skills required to assess the strengths and weaknesses of a range of client groups from a multidisciplinary sport science perspective. This involves profiling the physiological, psychological and biomechanical characteristics of sport performance and health related activity to facilitate design of appropriate interventions |
