BSc (Hons) Arts Practice (Progression Route) Undergraduate Degree Provided by Great Yarmouth College This course has been developed to provide an arts-based progression route to Honours level for those who have completed a Foundation degree (or equivalent). BA (Hons) Arts Practice was developed in response to demand for an arts alternative to the very successful BA (Hons) Professional Studies. It seeks to engender a creative mix of artists and art forms and encourages cross-fertilisation of ideas and projects. This one year full-time course provides the opportunity for further exploration of an art form which would have been previously studied at Foundation degree level. Whether this is media-based, music, graphics, fashion, photography, fine art or other form, the structure of this programme blends practical, exhibition/project work with the in-depth study of contextual issues associated with Honours level work. |
