Air Cargo Security - Known Consigners (ACS-KC)

This training course meets the requirements for personnel of Known Consigners under the training syllabus issued by the DfT in June 2012.

Air Cargo Security Level A - General Awareness (ACS-A)

Air Cargo Security Level A – General Awareness is the minimum requirement for all staff of Regulated Agents with any access to, or involvement with, export air cargo.

Air Cargo Security Level B - Drivers (ACS-B)

Drivers of regulated Agents or sub-contract hauliers must hold a valid Level B certificate when transporting secure cargo. Drivers who also carry out any form of warehouse duties (locating, picking, labelling, loading) must attend Level D.

Air Cargo Security Level D- Handling/Preparation of Air Cargo (ACS-D)

The Air Cargo Security Level D course is aimed at all personnel of Regulated Agents who are handling or preparing export air cargo by undertaking duties such as receipt of cargo, labelling and despatch to the airline or handling agent. This course does not include Module 8 - Physical Examination - and is therefore not suitable for personnel carrying out handsearch activities and / or x-ray screening of export air cargo (See Air Cargo Security Level E if this module is required).

Air Cargo Security Level E- Screening of Cargo (ACS-E)

In July 2008 the UK Department for Transport (DfT) issued a completely revised syllabus in relation to The UK National Aviation Security Training Programme – Air Cargo Security Training. All BIFA delivered courses have been rewritten in line with the new syllabus. The Air Cargo Security Level E course is aimed at all personnel of Regulated Agents who are undertaking screening of export air cargo either by handsearch or x-ray. This course replaces the old Cargo Level 1

Air Cargo Security Level F – Security Supervisor (ACS-F)

In July 2008 the UK Department for Transport (DfT) issued a completely revised syllabus in relation to The UK National Aviation Security Training Programme – Air Cargo Security Training. All BIFA delivered courses have been rewritten in line with the new syllabus. The Air Cargo Security Level F course is aimed at Security Supervisors within Regulated Agents who are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of export airfreight operations. This course replaces the old Cargo Level 2.

Air Cargo Security Level G – Security Manager (ACS-G)

In July 2008 the UK Department for Transport (DfT) issued a completely revised syllabus in relation to The UK National Aviation Security Training Programme – Air Cargo Security Training. All BIFA delivered courses have been rewritten in line with the new syllabus. The Air Cargo Security Level G course is required by the Nominated Security Manager of a Regulated Agent and the Site Security Manager at each listed site. This course replaces the old Cargo Level 3

Air Cargo Security - National X-Ray Competency Test for Cargo Screeners (NXCT)

All personnel carrying out cargo screening duties by x-ray at a Regulated Agent must sit and pass the NXCT as set by the Department for Transport

Air Cargo Security - Refresher for Levels A and B

Refresher training is mandatory for all personnel holding Air Cargo Security certificates and is to be undertaken at least every 24 months.

Air Cargo Security - Refresher for Levels D and E

Refresher training is mandatory for all personnel holding Air Cargo Security certificates and is to be undertaken at least every 24 months.
